What kind of information do we store and use at OFFTIME.org?
Our users are anonymous unless they decide to uncover themselves. We log general data that is a consequence of internet connection. This is for instance IP address. These information is stored strictly for technical and administrative purposes. IP addresses are also stored in order to create general, statistical and demographic image of our users (for example world region that user connects from).

Registration at OFFTIME.org requires the user to fill in the registration form. The user may decide about the amout of information provided.

During the registration procedure the only required fields are:
- user name,
- e-mail address (needed to verify the registration procedure),
- user's native language,
- user's home country.
All other information is not required for proper registration.

What is the policy of "cookie" files at OFFTIME.org?
Your web browser is capable of saving "cookies" at your hard drive. These files store information necessary for proper work of internet portals specially when authorization is obligatory.
"Cookie" files are unable to test user's real identity. These files are not used to process or store user's personal data.
OFFTIME.org stores "cookies" at user's hard drive in order to:
- keep alive user's session (after user logs in). Thanks to this mechanism user does not have to identify himself or herself with user/password at each page visited.
You can configure your browser not to store "cookies" at all at your hard drive.

Is presonal data shared among other companies or third persons?
No - we do not share any personal information to other companies or third persons.

The right to view, change or delete user information
Each user at OFFTIME.org has his or her own profile (My Hobby/Preferences) available after successful log in. These page enables users to view, change or delete user information.

OFFTIME.org does not send information, emails or offers unless the user decides to receive such information (this may be changed in user's profile).

- cookie - a small amount of information stored in a text file on user's hard drive which can be read by server during another connection from this computer,
- system log - an information passed by user's computer to our server during each connection. This information may contain for instance IP address and other data which may be helpful, more or less, in tracing the computer that connects to our server,
- IP address - a unique number assigned to each computer in the Internet. IP address may be premanently (static IP) assigned to a computer or assigned dynamicly (variable IP),
- profile page - a page available at http://www.hobby.offtime.org/index.php?doc=userpref. Each registered user may view, change or delete personal data through this page.
